SPECIAL NEEDS SCOOL SAMUI NEAR COMPLETION
“Special Needs School – Samui” is almost completed, with only a few further details such as Guttering and railings etc to finish. The result is a magnificent tribute to everyone who has so kindly committed time, effort and funds to this project. READ MORE HERE
THE NEW SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL BUILDING
IN BANGRAK – Jan 2016
As can be seen from the photograph, all internal and external rendering has now been completed along with the majority of the internal electrical wiring. The next stage will be for the ceilings to be finished and then the windows and doors to be fitted. If there is anyone out there who could assist with the Landscaping at a later stage it will be much appreciated.
Once again on behalf of The Samui Special Needs Foundation a huge “Thank you” to everyone for your past help, good luck and good health for 2016 and a wish for your continued support.

October 2015 – Quick update on school construction progress.
This photo taken in October shows the school construction moving ahead nicely.
Windows and doors soon to be added. Stay tuned for more news over time.
19 September 2015 – At last we begin the “Filling in” of the main structure.
17 May 2015 update: The roof begins to appear! (Thank you Rotary Club of Samui)
27 April 2015 update: The school is progressing very nicely showing off a 2nd floor.

Sunday the 25th January saw the long awaited start to the construction of the new Special Needs School here on the island. A colourful ceremony at which the Mayor,Khun Ramnate along with land donor Khun Ngoen Wichaidist and other dignitaries addressed the many guests and supporters began at 2pm and concluded with the pouring of the first concrete foundation stone. These events being blessed by Pra Mongkol Theepacharn, Abbot of Wat Jarn.
